The project involves the construction of a new head office and logistics centre for a major supplier in the FMCG market. The front section of the building houses the corporate headquarters, compete with all office support facilities from high density filing through to the boardroom amenities.
The logistics centre is served by a multitude of self-leveling loading docks that can cater for all sizes of transportation. Extensive cold and cool rooms are served by a dedicated refrigeration and control system, the construction of which had to account for a high water table and the possibility of ground freeze. Bulk dry goods storage was provided by extensive vertical racking which allows automatic replenishing of removed stock.
Externally extensive car parking, vehicle turning, substations, gatehouses, fencing and all associated infrastructure completes the bespoke facility.
